This project is jointly released by the Charity Federation of Suzhou High tech Zone (Huqiu District) and the the Taihu Lake Lake National Wetland Park, aiming to protect valuable wetland resources, protect bird habitats, maintain biodiversity in the wetland park, and improve the function of wetland ecosystem; Improve plant coverage, enhance water quality and wetland landscape functionality; Improve monitoring measures to understand and track the species, quantity, distribution, ecological functions, and relationships with environmental factors of organisms in the ecosystem.

? The bird species in the Taihu Lake National Wetland Park in Suzhou have increased from less than 50 at the beginning of the park to more than 170 at present;
The water quality in most areas of the park has improved from poor Class V before opening to overall Class III or above, and some water bodies have reached Class II water quality, which is significantly better than the external water quality;
The green coverage rate in the park exceeds 24%, and it can absorb 10000 to 20000 tons of carbon dioxide annually. The 24-hour average PM2.5 level in the park is less than 15 micrograms per cubic meter, and the air quality is always in a high-quality state;
In terms of plant protection, the number of vascular plants has increased from 121 at the beginning of the garden to 240.
